Off I went with Nckt to checkout a drain underneath a high profile stretch of tarmac shall we say, let's just say we went for the more ambitious and epic access, when in reality we found a much easier and hassle free route on the way back.
Anyway the River Bollin runs through and under this giant culverted section of high profile land. Underneath is a further alleviation drain used to bypass any overflow away from the area, to prevent flooding obviously.
Having enough of drains, we moved onto the planes, after a short mooch and hopping a few fences we now appeared to be within the 'Crash Zone' of the runway, Oops, how did we end up here?
Take photos, some video and GTFO seemed to be the best plan on this occasion....Sickkk times.

After lifting a couple of curious manholes, we found ourselves inside the flood alleviation drain, below and beyond the culverted section above.
This concrete section seemed to go on
and on....
before coming to an abrupt end. The water had a thin film of aviation fuel covering the entire surface, you can just about make it out in the photo's.

Now then, these fences are in place to stop any manner of shit ending up on the runway.
Who would be crazy enough to climb over onto the runway for a closer look?....

Suppose it was pretty cool having a plane fly at you and land less than 40ft away (LOL).
And as for the Automobiles....Where did we park the car again?
