Granary Wharf, Leeds

Ojay/MJS/CANDF...

Boredem often leads to last minute japery atm.

With no plan, we wondered around the City hitting anything and everything we could..

We were denied entry at quite a few places via some from of security ;)

In the end time was against us, so we headed over to the wharf.

Watermans Place & Blue Apartments were where we ended up.

It was windy as f00k and getting pics wasn't easy, I gave up in the end as the big dopey Nikon & tripod flailed about in the wind!

Them wrong 'uns locked me on the rooftop, so I had to break free, cutting my hand in the process LOL.

First up Waterman's Place
This is an older pic, the last time I was here was on teh crutches

On the way down we found the 'roof terrace'

Looking across to 'Blue Apartments'

There was some clunge wandering about in a dressing gown, and a party of three in the opposite penthouse, off we go!

Next up Blue Apartments
Cnuts be locking me on rooftops

Light trails as my camera was blown over

Merseyway, Stockport

Ojay/Tweedy...

Apparently Stockport is one big Derp propped up on concrete and supported by the River Mersey

Personally I would have never believed such bollocks, so we went for a quick look, quick being the operative word here...

The Nikon does color WHUT?

Chemical Works, Leeds

Ojay/CANDF...

Shouts to Clough for this one, wasn't a bad little stroll after chilling up Opal 3.

This place produces chemicals that go into oil, paint and cleaning agents, not a lot of info on the place really.

The secca was doing has rounds as we approached and promptly spotted us so we had to sit it out a good while before we went in.

Described by a few as a mini Hickson & Welch with the lights on, we had to creep about evading cctv, pir's and the keen secca on site made it all the more fun.

Although power remains on in a few of the buildings, including labs and machinery the place is slowly being stripped as it's no longer in use.

On the way out we ended up in a building which hadn't been looked in before, we had a choice of 2 doors.

The one we chose took us straight into the security office with a couple of TFT's and a lovely view of all the on-site cctv :D

..Time to GTFO!

Main production building

Presumably where the gaffer sits watching the machinery..

..Like fuck! LOL, the desk and drawers are full of some top shelf favourites :D

Really he should be watching these

Lovin' these old H&S posters

Lower level

Some Lab action

Opal 3, Leeds

Ojay/CANDF...

It's quite an impressive building at 25 storeys (3rd tallest building in Leeds).

At 82m (269ft) the big red triangle can be seen from miles around.

The place is full of stunning students (*clunge), and it's easy to get distracted here :D

I've wanted to stand up there for time, but thats the problem, time was always against me.

Everytime I visited Leeds something else got in the way and we literally ran out of it.

I got a call from CANDF who were up for a mooch "Opal fruit tonite Ojay, and a little something else".

Yes to that!

Anyway we were soon up, destination 'big red triangle'...

On the way out I'm fairly certain CANDF were spotted by security on the newly installed roof cam
whilst I was snapping away :D

Sheffield Crown Court

Ojay/Millhouse...

Originally built to replace Sheffield's first Town Hall (1807-8).

Extended in 1833 and again in 1866 with the addition of the Clock Tower.

By the 1890's it became to small for a Town Hall, so in 1896 it was further extended and became Sheffield Crown Court.

The courts were linked to the nearby Police offices by and underground tunnel (which is now bricked up at the other end).

By 1990, the courts had moved to a new premises, the final entry in the Magistrates attendance book was 27th October 1995.

Now a grade II listed building, it has also been named by the Victorian Society as one of their top ten buildings at risk.

Full of a cold I decided to give drains a miss for some derp action..

A quick call to Millhouse and we were on our way.

We had quite a bit of waiting around, as you can imagine on a Monday afternoon before we had our 'window' of opportunity.

I decided to use the Nikon for the first time today, it's gonna take me a while to get used it sorry if the pics aint that clever.

One final tip, remember where you parked the fookin' car :D

(We found it eventually)

To the Courts
