Essentially a 2 bore concrete culvert around 200m long that carries the River under a busy stretch of motorway..
The only way in was via the infall as the outfall oddly enough had a huge grill in which the only hatch was locked preventing access!
At the infall was a smaller watercourse exiting through barely a 5ft RCP.
I too followed this a good distance before it became a shrinker so I turned back.
The whole thing was a dissapointment, but unless you check these things out you'll never know, besides there was better stuff nearby so not a wasted journey.
