Had a quick visit up here last week after visiting U-Missed & HFLB. Situated just off the Mancunian Way this concrete structure was abandoned many years ago due to lack of funding, the usual story... Even the crane was removed by the Council on safety grounds by worried residents of the nearby River Street apartments.
The place is littered with needles, and was once a village for the 'bag heads' looking at the amount of crap lying around the lower sections.
Anyway it makes for some cool photos, and I have even attempted my first pano which I'm reasonably pleased with.
