Red Barn Drain Re-visited

Following on from WB's visit to see some more of Manchesters drains...

...We headed on over to Red Barn after having already checking out Sidedraught Induction.

Although not all that long, it definately has to be one of the more interesting drains due to it's constant shape changes and transitions from concrete to crumbling victorian brickwork to stone.

Access is made somewhat challenging since the Outfall has a locked grilled gate covering it, WB especially liked this feature :D

Traversing through, the drain continually changes shape along the way, it's very slippy with mineral deposits and in parts real stoopy!

The 'Egg' on the left is a sewer overflow which is a real stooper

After spending a good while dicking about, we headed back for the daylight of the Outfall
