Great Northern Tower

It was one hell of a cold evening in Manchester and my first meet with Jim Gillette, Gone & Rookie.

Our first mission was to try and photograph some stuff in the snow that Jim had spotted. After finally reaching some roof of a car park I only managed to get the following pics:

We then decided to try and get a bit higher.. Hmm so we agreed on the building in the second shot to try and get roof access, what an epic fail that turned out to be, although scaling the arches to get there in the first place was comical with Gone and Rookie trying to get through some fence at the top, whilst me and Jim climbed the arch ;-)

After evading security, and finding our way around the 'Maze' like building with its coded doors we finally found the roof access, LOCKED!!!!

We then decided to head over to the Great Northern Tower just as the sun was beginning to set.
After gaining access to the building fairly quickly, and evading security we had an embarrassing attempt at getting the lift to move, which can't be done without a code so we decided to head past security (Again) and quickly head up the stairs being watched by security. After an epic climb 23 levels up but the roof was LOCKED!! another fail.

I don't have any decent photos from here as my tripod jammed, however Gone and Rookie managed to get some decent shots of Great Northern and the Hilton.
