Whilst Mooching round these parts today, I discovered an interesting Tunnel.
After checking various threads on numerous forums and having spoken to ThenewMendoza who has explored a lot round here and previously discovered 'The Beast Of Stockport', he too had not come accross this one either!
I therefore claim naming rights :p
The tunnel itself is cut into the sandstone just like the nearby caves and air raid shelters.
@ 4ft it's a real back breaker, I gave up after about 20M!
It disappeared deep under the road and beyond the Brinksway Shelters to give you some idea.
I will further explore sometime soon and include more photo's, for now Enjoy.
